Hey Greg – great meeting you in person! The bonds built over meals at Affiliate Summit are worth the cost of the trip alone… the educational sessions thrown on top is an extra bonus!

As an affiliate, after meeting with a program manager or network, you'll often be taken more seriously (no matter what you were doing before) which will then propel your success.

When people say they can't afford to go to Affiliate Summit, my only reply is they can't afford to NOT go.

Very nice, Greg. It was a pleasure meeting you and your Sunshine buddies! When I first met you in a hall, you stopped me and said you followed me on Twitter. No one had ever said that to me before in my 2+ year Twitter life! It threw me for a loop, and that's why I acted a little weird-ed out.

I plan to be in your top affiliates list, if only to knock down Eric for a time. That guy's quick on the draw!

You are so right about how the connections just flow at Affiliate Summit. What were the chances that we would meet a hockey merchant at breakfast and then have a hockey affiliate stand up in my session and ask for merchant suggestions? I feel like "It's a Small World" should be playing in the background sometimes. (Although now everyone will want to kill me for getting that song stuck in their heads).

I'm glad that AS was a success for you, Greg. You deserve it.
